New Taipei Industry Technology Upgrade Matching Event Report

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the New Taipei City Government for organizing the “New Taipei Industry Technology Upgrade” matchmaking event. By integrating local Small Business Innovation Research(SBIR) grants with the strategic guidance of SME service teams, the program fosters meaningful collaboration among small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions from academia, research, and industry. YSF Medical was honored to participate and engage with key stakeholders from the metal, machinery, biomedical, and ICT sectors. This event exemplifies New Taipei City's ongoing commitment to advancing industrial innovation and sustainable growth.

At the event, YSF Medical shared its transformation story, beginning with traditional mold and component processing and strategically transitioning into the high-value field of orthopedic implants and surgical instruments. Through years of dedicated R&D and process innovation, supported by SBIR subsidies and expert consultation from SME service teams, the company successfully entered the regulated medical device sector. By 2015, YSF Medical had obtained ISO 13485 and GMP certifications, establishing a strong foundation for long-term growth in global medical manufacturing.

The event brought together eight leading academic and research organizations, each offering expertise in functional materials, precision manufacturing, energy efficiency, IoT integration, and patent strategies. These collaborative resources empower SMEs to enhance their technological capabilities and overall competitiveness.
